Custom wrought iron handrails for Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and North Shore homes. Hot-dip galvanised by Hunter Galvanizing, finished in Norglass marine-grade paint where coastal salt air calls for it.
Internal handrails.
Staircases, mezzanines and interior balconies. Heritage scrollwork through to clean contemporary lines.
External handrails.
Front steps, garden paths and outdoor stairs. Hot-dip galvanised, then finished in marine-grade primer and paint for coastal conditions.

Common questions.
How long does it take to install a custom handrail?
Most handrail projects are completed within 3-6 weeks from design approval, with smaller handrails usually quicker. This includes fabrication, galvanising, painting and installation.
Do you install both internal and external handrails?
Yes. External handrails are hot-dip galvanised and marine-grade painted for coastal conditions.
What finishes are available?
Hot-dip galvanised, primed and finished with marine-grade paint. Colour matching is available.
Do you work with heritage properties?
Yes. We've got plenty of experience with heritage council requirements across Woollahra, Mosman and the North Shore.
What areas do you service?
Eastern Suburbs and North Shore. Vaucluse, Double Bay, Woollahra, Mosman and surrounding areas.
Will wrought iron handrails rust in coastal Sydney homes?
Not when they're done properly. Hot-dip galvanised by Hunter Galvanizing, finished in Norglass marine-grade paint. The steel underneath stays sealed off from salt air for decades, which is what coastal Vaucluse, Rose Bay and Mosman jobs need.
Do I need council approval for new wrought iron handrails on a heritage home in Mosman or Woollahra?
Often yes for heritage-listed properties. We've done a fair bit of work through Woollahra and Mosman heritage councils and can guide you on what's likely to fly. Send photos and we'll tell you what the council will want to see.
How are wrought iron handrails fixed to brick or sandstone walls?
Brick takes standard masonry anchors. Sandstone is softer and needs chemical anchors or larger expansion bolts depending on the stone's condition. On heritage Sydney homes we test the wall first and pick the fixing that holds without splitting the stone.
