Do you come to my property for repairs?
Yes, to look at it, take it away and re-hang it. Most repairs are done properly in our workshop, and the same team brings it back and re-installs it.
What can you repair?
Gates, handrails, balustrades, grilles and decorative ironwork. If it's wrought iron or steel, we can usually sort it.
Can small repairs be done at the property?
Sometimes. Smaller fixes we can do at the property, and your photos tell us which.
Can you fix a sagging gate?
Yes. We work out why it has dropped, repair it in the workshop where needed, and re-hang it so it shuts properly.
How quickly can you get to a repair job?
If you send photos and the address, we can usually tell you the next available booking the same day. Urgent gate and access issues are prioritised where we can.
Do you need photos before you come out?
Yes. Photos help us work out what it needs and whether it comes back to the workshop. A few clear shots usually save a second visit.
What does a typical repair cost?
Cost depends on what's broken, the size of the job and how accessible it is. Send a photo and we'll come back same day with a price.
Can an old wrought iron gate be repaired or restored?
Depends on how far gone it is. Smaller fixes we do at the property. If the steel has gone through, the gate comes into the workshop for new sections to be welded in. If it is past saving, we make a new one to match, from a side gate to driveway gates.
Will the repair match the existing paint on a heritage gate?
Colour matching is available at extra cost. An exact match needs a physical sample we can send to our paint supplier.
