How long does it take to build and install a driveway gate?
Lead times vary with the size of the build and the workshop schedule. You'll get the current lead time with your same-day quote. Automated gates may need a little extra time to fit and set up the motor.
What finishes are available for driveway gates?
All our gates are hot-dip galvanised, primed and finished in marine-grade paint, with prep and painting handled in-house over galvanised surfaces. Colour matching is available at extra cost. An exact match needs a physical sample we can send to our paint supplier.

What does a typical driveway gate cost?
Cost depends on size, design, motor type and finish. Send a photo of the entrance and a rough idea of the look you want and we'll come back same day with a price.
Do automated driveway gates need a dedicated power supply or extra electrical work?
Yes, any motorised gate needs power at the motor. You will need a licensed electrician to run a dedicated circuit from the meter board out to the gate. We supply and fit the motor once the power is there.
Can driveway gates take intercoms, keypads or remote access?
The motors we use can take intercoms, keypads, remotes and safety beams. These are wired in and set up by your licensed electrician, not by us.
How wide do driveway gates need to be to fit two cars in Sydney?
Most modern Sydney homes are designed for 3 metres minimum per car, so a double driveway gate sits at 5 to 6 metres total. We custom-fit to the actual driveway, not the standard, so older homes with narrower entries still get a proper gate.
